when helping our customers with their printing orders. We have
put together some of the most frequently asked questions to
help with any queries you may have regarding our service. If
you cannot find an answer to a specific question then please

Q - Will I have to supply
my own artwork or can you design it for me?
A - It is best if you can supply your artwork on disk ready
to go to print. However if this is not possible our in-house
design studio can produce the artwork for you. See our artwork
page for details or give us a call on 01255 432518 to discuss
your requirements. |
Q - I can't find a price
on your website that matches my requirements. Can I get a quote?
A - Yes you can, Please give us a call on 01255 432518 and we
will be happy to supply you with a free no obligation quote.

Q - I require my job to be
printed on a specialist paper can this be done?
A. Yes, we can offer a wide range of specialist papers from
all the main manufacturers. Please call 01255 432518 for further
details. |
Q - How long will my print
order take?
A - Once your artwork has been signed off all ok, then your
print order will be with you within an agreed time. This is
usually within 5 working days. Depending on your specific job
requirements this may even take as little as 3 days for delivery.

Q - Can I check the progress
of my order?
A - You are more than welcome to phone us on 01255 432518 at
any time during office hours to check the progress of your job.
If you have supplied an email address then we will send you
emails regarding the production stages of your job from origination
to delivery. |
Q - Can I have a proof of
my job before it goes to print?
A - If you supply your own artwork a proof can be supplied via
email to check everything matches your original artwork. If
we design your artwork for you then a proof will be sent via
email or hard copy through the post. |
Q - Will my artwork be checked
for mistakes?
A - We cannot be held responsible for any mistakes with your
artwork. It is very important you check your artwork and proofs
very carefully as they are your responsibility. It is always
best to read the copy several times by atleast two different
people. We will usually provide a proof approval for you to
sign when you are sure everything is correct. |
Q - Will I be charged for
changes to my artwork?
A - If your artwork is supplied and changes need to be made
you will need to submit another disc or email with the corrected
artwork. If we have designed your artwork the odd minor change
will be free but any major changes will be charged for along
with extra proofs. |
Q - What will be the best
way to send my artwork?
A - The best way to send your artwork is via email if the file
is smaller than 1mb. If your files are lager than 1mb then please
use a CD and send the disk to us using registered post. |
Q - Which program would be
best to produce my artwork in?
A - We would prefer your artwork to be produced in a high resolution PDF format, with all fonts embedded and pictures at 300 dpi/CMYK, Alternatively, Adobe In Design or Quark Xpress will be fine, we can accept other formats, but these may incur an extra charge for artwork. Please note that all picture files need to have a resolution
of at least 300dpi at the original size and need to be CMYK
format. All fonts will need to be supplied for each job. If
your artwork is for two colour print you will need to make sure
the seperations only print two plates. If you are unsure please

Q - When will I have to pay
for my order?
A - Payment will need to be made when placing the order. Please
note if paying by cheque we will need to let the cheque clear
before your order can be put into production. No credit or accounts will be set up for customers. |
Q - Can I pay by credit card?
A - Credit card payments are welcome as they speed up the turnaround
time of your order as payment is instant. |
Q - How long does the delivery
take?
A - All orders are sent via courier on a 24hr service. We can
also arrange to deliver before 12.00 midday for a small additional
charge. |
Q - I require my job to be
delivered to different addresses, is this possible?
A - Yes. We can send your job to different addresses. There
will be an extra charge for each address but you only pay what

Q - What happens if my job has been
printed incorrectly?
A - This should never happen. We will always make sure you
have checked the final proof of your artwork and returned
to us a signed fax copy stating that the artwork is all OK.
If for some reason there is a problem with the job caused
by us we will re-print the work as quickly as possible at
no further charge to you. You should contact us on 01255 432518
when you receive the work, then the complete job must be returned
to us within 5 working days of the delivery date and in the
condition it was received by you.

Q - Do you hold my artwork
on disk ready for reprints?
A - All films produced from your artwork will be kept on file
ready for reprints.
Your disc containing the supplied artwork will be returned to
you for safe keeping. |
Q - Do I have to pay VAT
on all printing?
A - In some cases NO. Promotional material/leaflets can be printed
with no VAT to pay.
How to claim your VAT free leaflet printing
- VAT is normally charged at a flat rate of 17.5% on all printing
except for promotional leaflets.
As long as you follow these few guidelines your leaflets will
be VAT free. • The leaflet design must not allow more
than 25% of the printed sheet to be unprinted space that could
be available for writing on or returning. • The leaflet
must be intended for reading in the hand not to be placed on
the wall for general display. • It must convey information
and not designed to be kept. • It must not be used as
a calendar; to obtain admission to premises; to obtain a discount
on goods or services; as reference material; or for completion
or return. • A leaflet should be printed on paper to qualify
for VAT exemption. If heavy weight paper or card is used then
this will not be classed as a leaflet and will be subject to
VAT. We
will be happy to advise you on how to best produce your leaflet
arwork to be eligable for VAT Free printing. Call Phil on 01255
